I always disliked these. If you want help, just ask personally. Hey best friend, on your way over to visit do you think you could grab me a bite to eat? Hey auntie, before you go would you maybe be able to throw a load of laundry in the wash? Etc. People know that after you have a baby it may be nice to offer something for the mom/parents like a meal or helping around the house, so if they want to do that, they will offer. Just because someone wants to celebrate the birth of your baby and visit doesnt mean they should be made to feel like they should be doing something for you or feeling bad if they dont do something. These come off as snobby in my opinion.
@kitcatmeow8383 to me it's like when someone says something in a nice way but you know they're being an a-hole. That's what these things say to me. It's like, you better be doing something for me if you wanna hold my baby. Lol
Wow. Dissing another moms post comes off snobby to me. If you don't care for it then don't comment. I happen to think it's a cute little joke and probably meant as such and NOT meant to take so personally. GEEZZZ LADIES! Lol

I was just sharing how I felt about those types of messages because I've seen people actually share stuff like this on fb expecting it to be done so I've always seen it in a negative light. Having a fair opinion doesn't make me a snob or uptight. If that's how you perceived my comment then that's the same as me perceiving the post the way that I did. Just as well as how you said if i don't care for it don't comment, if you don't care for my opinion then you don't have to comment either.
Unfortunately it just doesn't work that way. As long as we aren't name calling or anything out of line, we're entitled to our fair opinion. On that note, good night ladies.
