When is a good time to transition into a toddler bed? My son is a little over a year and still has yet to try and get out of his crib. I know some people who have already done it with their kids younger than him but I'm just wondering if there's a good age for it or just whenever he figures out how to get out of the crib?

@mami1234 that's what I'm worried about with putting him in a bed he can get out of at his own free will. I'll obviously baby proof his room like crazy but he literally finds a way into everything and for a while now, when he wakes up, he doesn't make a sound, he sits there quietly and plays in his crib then after a few minutes gets a little whiny if someone isn't coming for him yet.
My son is destructive. He still doesn't have his own bed . He sleeps with me or in his play pen
