My daughter is allergic to the flu shot she had to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance because she ran a high fever and started having seizures on the floor.... never will I give it to her again

Look, honestly @sarafaye11 it really depends on the person. Every child is different, every child's immune system is different from the next kid ya know. Personally, I've always believed in vaccinations and believe they are a necessary and crucial part of life that everyone should get, especially these precious children. I grew up in a vaccinated family and we turned out fine, my daughter is 9.5 months old and she's up to date on all her shots so far, my husband comes from a vaccinated family too and we both agreed to vaccinate however many children we decide to have. Baby no.2 in my belly now will definitely get his vaccinations as well when he comes out too. I mean i guess you can't knock those that choose to not vaccinate their kids if their kids are allergic to any of those vaccines, or happen to have a weaker or unique immune system where their bodies cannot tolerate certain medications or vaccines, and i get that, i can understand that. But for those that just choose to not vaccinate their kids for personal reasons, religious reasons, political, etc, any of that stuff, then i think my advice to you would be to just do your research and try to make the best possible decisions for your children. At the end of the day, all we can do is try to do what's best for our kids the way our own parents had to learn to figure out over time as well ya know. Like i said in my own personal opinion, I'd rather be safe than sorry and have my children vaccinated. Nowadays you can catch just about anything in this world, anywhere (schools, hospitals, daycares, stores, homes, airports, other public places, etc, etc), so I'd rather feel better knowing my child will have a protected immune system versus taking a chance of her being around other kids or even adults that may be sick with something or were never vaccinated and her catching something potentially deadly ya know. I actually watched a great show on netflix that had an episode specifically all about the question of "to vaccine or not to vaccine", and it opened my eyes and mind a little more on the topic. It was called "Bill Nye Saves the World", and the episode was called "Shots around the World", like episode 4 or 5 i think. But it was really informative and they debated both sides of the topic and had an expert panel breaking down both arguments for and those against vaccines. So perhaps check that out too while you're researching, but definitely do your research and trust that you're making the best logical and healthy decisions for your kids, and that's all i got to say about it. That's my 2 cents on the subject lol, so i hope that helps or at least maybe will encourage you to also wanna expand your mind and outlook on life like I've been gradually learning to do now that I'm a mom. Ya know our parents weren't lying when they said raising kids is a daily learning process, and this topic is no exception lol! Good luck to you chica!

@arod8617 Thank you for your response!! My son has all of his shots too, but I swear, some of the things I see posted from acquaintances really makes me think about CERTAIN vaccines. Of course, anti vaxx like to us the "Why are you afraid of my non-vaxxed kid if yours is? Shouldn't your vaxxed kid be safe due to it's vaccination?" So I never include myself in the debates, just a fly on the wall. This was honestly the first and only article I read on it but it has me totally shook! Then I see people talking about the MMR vaccine and how kids under 5 shouldn't get it!
