@caityyy_lynnn I'm pretty much going through the same thing with my best friend of 15 years. She's calling my daughter a stupid nickname and gets mad cuz I'm pregnant and don't have the time or energy to hang out with her as much anymore. She texted me today a lot of messages of me not caring about her and stuff. I acted like she was joking around but I don't think she was exactly. But it is what it is. My baby comes first. Plus were 3 years apart and going different directions in life.

@juliaschade41, Shes 22 and I'll be 21 in June. She only talks to me when it's convenient for her and when she needs help because I have a car and she doesnt.. she also spends her money on stupid stuff while I sit on mine for weeks.. she gives me no space and when I texted her today, she ignored me and had the nerve to ask me for stuff.. I also go wherever she wants to go and when I ask her to go see a few friends for a few hours she's like "no I don't want to go" and gives me a really bad attitude. I'm just so over it..

I needed a break from my best friend between Jr high and high school. We've remained friends for over 20 years.

Honestly though, she doesn't even sound like a friend.

I would tell her that you're going to take a break, take care of yourself. And you don't want to be bothered. When you're ready, you'll contact her. If she truly is your friend, she'll leave you be. If not, then she's definitely the problem.

@caityyy_lynnn you need to do you. Your life and well being and state of mind is more important than anyone else's. Plus she needs to learn to grow up and be taught an adult lesson. She acts like she's spoiled and entitled. She's not being a best friend to you at all.

I've never had that type of situation but I can just picture my self being really annoyed and mean lol it's ok you're pregnant.. you can get away with it lol

@caityyy_lynnn it looks like you know what to do. Your friend will be okay, its not going to be the end of the world.
