Any breastfeeding mom's get tattoos during the time of nursing ? I'm curious. LLLI says there's no evidence tattoos affect breastfeeding in any way, but just wondering about other mom's experiences.. I'll be asking my OB about it when I go in for my 6week visit. I really wanna finally start my tattoo addiction.. (YES, they all have a deeply thought of meaning and purpose in my life...❤)

Yes it's fine. I got one when my little one was 2 weeks old and he was breastfeeding. They always say just make sure its a clean environment and they use sterile equipment. :)

I wanted to get one done but decided to wait till my sons not being breast fed because they say you don't heal as fast and it's easier to get infected and if you get infected while breastfeeding it'll go to the baby
