He is almost 18 months, right? He could be starting another round of sleep regression. I think the 18 month phase is the hardest one just cause you've been doing it almost two years already and you're just about dead 😩

@rhealize, I usually give him a bath, his milk , and relax. Usually he has no problem going to sleep and right after I go to sleep too but through the night he constantly wakes up and it's been like this for a while . I recently took his pacifier away and I thought we were making progress but he returned to his usually waking up through out the night

Is TV a habit for restless nights? That might be causing them if the screen is really bright. Light of any sort keeps your brain from producing enough melatonine to help you get to sleep. Maybe try dimming or turning off all the lights altogether 30 minutes before his bed time, and try to avoid using anything with a screen during that time, and if he fights it, don't give in and settle for the tv to pass time until he's sleepy again. You can give him a bath and then read a book with him to get him drowsy and then lay him down as usual.

It's tricky, and can be boring, but it could help 😊
