Hey guys I'm new here just joined. So I have a question. My son spent the weekend with his dad( where no longer together) and as he was bring him bck home he texted me that our son got burned cuz he left the iron on the beds. Here's what he sent me:

Fritz: He burned his leg this morning on the iron, I was ironing on the bed and left to boil eggs, the iron was to the right on the bed, when I left, he was sitting up , legs crossed, I guess at some point he payed down and go burned, he wouldn't tell me that he did, guessing because he thought he would get in trouble, so I told him it wasn't his fault and it was mine for leaving the iron on the bed, even if it was for a minute, I have burn ointment that you can put on it, I'm sorry.

Should I be upset upset? He had a friend who's a nurse look at and gave him some cream. Why didn't he think to call me when it happened? Why didn't he take him the hospital or urgent care. I asked him to take a pic to send me and he didn't. When my son showed me I got even more livid. I immediately took him to urgent are. He brushed it off like it was nothing. Like it wasn't that bad.
