Poop post is this normal

They gave him a suppository and that's all he got out

I have 3 sons...i have never seen a 4 month old baby poop that..hope he feels better

@mommy2hannah, I have been giving him suppositories for a whole week and still got poop that size 😔 they said he's too young for a enema but the X-ray showed that he is completely blocked

My baby pooped like that for 2 or less months without a suppository. She's finally pooping right again. So that might be what's going on with yours. It'll take a little bit to get used to but gas drops, Apple juice and p fruits are all what you need to get him to poop

Yes try a little juice it may help with that

I have tried apples prunes pears peaches water pedialyte Karo syrup and suppositories with little lick @1st_time_wonder, @michelleaaliyah, I just don't know what to do the x ray showed he's basically full of 💩

This is good for gas and easier poop. 4 drops in each bottle...old fashion way too me being a mom of 21 yrs of my life...warm bath rub his stomach with. Rubbing alcohol(helps even for period cramps)2 oz of water and 2 oz of 100% real prune juice..while in bath and out of it...grab his legs in bicycle motion...these bouncer chairs i use and even a car ride helps them poop because..gravity....if he's flat harder to poop....hope it helps

Do you breast feed or formula fed?

My pediatrician told me her daughter took 7 days to poop but..ate just fine.yeah drs worry after day 3

He's on day 15 and his food consumption has dramatically dropped to 1-2 oz if I'm lucky no almost 5 month old eats that little @sherrynygirl, @michelleaaliyah, he is bottle fed

Maybe it's the formula my nephew was the same way and they had to put him on a different formula for that reason

@sherrynygirl so you rub his belly with rubbing alcohol? Then drink the watered down prune juice?

@lovelily, he was on nutramegin he wouldn't eat it at all we tried for a month and he lost weight 😔

@mature.mommy.39 .yes rubbing alcohol pads are good for upset stomachs...yes 2 oz water and has to be 100% real prune juice...as long as a baby doesn't have a fever and keeps drinking formula its okay

Can you try donor breastmilk?

Why you don't try the Enfamil Reguline. That helped my first daughter. After she drank two bottles, she pooped like crazy.
