Sometimes they just need a little reminder like hey you're in this too! My boyfriend got into the habit of letting me do everything because I allowed it in the beginning! It took me getting frustrated and us fighting for me to break it all down to him

@kellynicole, tell me about it! She thinks her doing a 6 hours shift gets her the rest of the night off. Like um no ive been taking care of him all day, we both would like some attention.

@kellynicole, but if I show any frustration or anger there will be some stupid excuse flying out of her mouth and we will argue for the next 3 hours 😅. So I just avoid it all together if possible. It goes through 1 ear and out the other anyways

Girl... it's 12:23 am here and I have to get up in 3 hours to go to work. I'm going to work a 6 hour shift. When I come home from work I will jump right into momming. It's possible to work and be a parent! Alllllllways with the excuses.

But don't show frustration. Do your best not to let your emotions control you. Sit her down and have a calm conversation. Tell her how it makes you feel. That's how I got it through to my bf.

You have to sit down with her alone with no kids around. So when they nap, go sit outside with her and talk it out CALM. if voices raise, walk away and try again another day

@kellynicole, I will def try and yeah I take care of both babies and maintain a clean household and when I was working I came home and took care of my kids because that's what parents do. It's like it doesn't register in her mind but I will try and talk to her about it because it can't keep happening
