After 2 long nights with heavy contractions and no dilation, went from 1cm to 7cm in just a few hours! It was around 3am when that happened. After this, I stopped dilating, then we had to use pitocin to help progress. My doctors were about to perform a c-section since pitocin wasn't causing too much change. With prayers, crossing our fingers I finally dilated all the way through around 9a.m. I was so nervous! I'm the first one in my family to be able to dilate all the way through in adequate time. I was so exhausted that I was about to give up and ask them to open me up. But something deeper inside told me to keep pushing, and in less than an hour, my baby finally came out! 6lb and 4 onz, 19inches! My Chinese-Dominican #mixedbaby can't be more adorable! He's all Swaddled up by his daddy. Haha. ❤️🔆
