So I got absolutely nothing for Mother's Day but for fathers fay I'm spending almost $500 for us to get a romantic weekend together in a cabin...what's wrong with this picture?

@chocolatemomma, he's my best friend and we're great parents. We love eachother but he's been getting himself too stressed on life. And im not here to make excuses for him but we both know we need some stress free time together to get back to our roots of love
@beebaby, he knows he fucked up with Mother's Day. His friends even told him that he was fucked when he said he didn't get me anything. He knows we really need some time away and it's not really just my money because I'm a SAHM and half of his paycheck gets deposited into my account
@trice4990, save that money, find a sitter, and do something romantic at home. Why spend all that money on something that's not guaranteed to fix the issue. Y'all going to be sitting in that cabin staring at the walls if your plan don't work. #JustMyOpinionAgain
@trice4990, if your life together is failing and you have to spend money to make him be more romantic, why is there even talks of a wedding happening? #ImJustAsking Maybe y'all should rethink that and just coparent. Romance is free. Sounds like you're holding on to something that's may not be meant to be. #JustMyOpinion
@beebaby, very true. It's actually the money saved up for our wedding that Ive been making at work that I'm using
@lovefaithkindness, @_amandahiatt, @sumria, it was my first Mother's Day too. I mean I'm considering it his Father's Day gift but the reality of it is our relationship really needs it! Our family is great and I think we're amazing parents! But our love life together is failing(because of him) and I need to get him alone to make sure we get that back!
