Hey ladies so I left my ex because he was abusive and controlling and jealous. Also because he is my kids dad and I knew he wouldn't stop hitting me.now I've been doing good not talking to him except these last couple of weeks. And he is getting in my head again making me realize how much I love him and how we feel in love but I just don't want to go down that road again . especially not with my girls I need help staying strong so that I won't contact him or if he contacts me I won't answer. Any advice.

I can't say I know what you are going through bc I personally have not been there BUT I want to tell you there are studies that show your kids growing up emotionally unstable if they grow up with a poor childhood. Do what's best for your children. Be the mother you promised them you'd be. Set a good example.

I have been there. And as much as your feelings will play against you, know that you made the right choice to leave! Remember, you are not the problem, He Has The Problem! It's important you seek help in this time Id recommended women's crisis Center they educated me so much because I was clueless and he also was using tactics to get in my head so I'd come back. However, The #1 priority is your family (you and your children's safety). Setting boundaries for you and your children is for protection. I'd also recommend going to this site it talks all about abuse, gives you lessons and offers an app to help you: whengeorgiasmiled.org its the "Aspire Initiative."
I'm so sorry you are going through this, but I'm also a living testimony of how you can get out and start new. You will get through this and every time it gets rough, just look at your children to keep you going. 😊
