I've had two c-sections with my two babies and will be having another in two weeks. I loved it, I had a great first c-section ! My second one was harder cause they cut through the scar tissue, but there are things to prepare for. About 2 hours of legs being numb, but you'll be medicated for half of that. You may get a pain in your shoulder, no you're not having a heart attack, it's actually just horrible gas from the air in your tummy. Although still run it by the nurses. Honestly, like lovemyson said above...your stomach will ache but that wasn't even the dreadful part, i just hated rotating pads between my belly and "hello kitty" it was more annoying then anything bleeding between the two but luckily within a few weeks it evens out. I like the csection because you choose the date and time. Surgery takes 30 mins and your baby is out in the first five....I am not the kind of girl who would be enjoying 36 hours of labor 🙀

I had to have a csection at 34 weeks exactly. I was sent by one hospital to another by ambulance. I had bad preeclampsia so my blood pressure was almost at the stroke stage. I was sent to the hospital and they induced me. I was thinking I was gonna have a all natural birth but I was wrong. The pitocin and my contractions was causing my sons heart rate to drop so they came in the room and rushed me to the Operating room. I cried the whole way. It was the scariest thing ever to imagine. Especially with me being a first time mom.. I had ever thought running through my mind especially the bad. I kept praying asking that my son be ok and to let me be ok. I kept telling my mom I loved her lol cause I thought I was gonna die honestly... the doctor shifted me to the OR table and gave me an epidural. It numbed me completely from under my breasts to my toes. I couldn't feel a thing other than some tugging while they got my little man out. then next thing I know within 10 minutes later my babies out and they stitching me up... I stayed numb for about. an hour after then I started feeling the aching where they cut me. So they hooked me up some morphine to help... I was also on magnesium so I was on complete bed rest, catheter and all. Couldn't see my baby until 24 hours later.... A csection isn't that bad honestly. Just scary as ever thinking something will go wrong. My stomach ached pretty bad and it was hard to stand up straight and walk around but the more you stay in bed the more it will hurt and stay sore. and I have to say coughing after being cut open was pretty bad. I was on pain meds for the whole next day then the 2nd day I came off of them completely. I was up walking up and down the halls to the nicu every hour for 7 days straight with or without help lol.... was sent home pain med prescription but never got it filled. My stomach just ached all the time but other than that my incision was numb. Still is kinda numb to this day.... That's my story lol. Try not to stress it. Just relax. Hopefully you'll have a natural birth but if it comes down to having to have a csection, just pray and you'll be ok :)

@mommy.ortiz4, get walking girl like run practically @hkatedavis, that was my biggest fear as well it will all be ok stay active and focused on a healthy pregnancy. I personally think mess are would lead to a c section in so many cases not all but a lot after all the research I have did. Issue arise distress heart rates drop often bc all these are symptoms of medication I don't support medication for a health laboring women

I'm worried too !! I'll be 40 weeks on Tuesday and no sign of him yet!
