The boys came back from their moms last night and the younger one is covered HEAD TO TOE in poison ivy, apparently he has been all week! I'm super allergic to it, not sure if Kinlee is but I sure don't want to find out and like I said before he's had it ALL DAMN WEEK! She's like oh I used oatmeal body wash but it didn't work. Seriously? There is stores full of stuff for it plus he has two kinds of insurance. Needless to say the poor kid is getting a shot today because he's been miserable long enough and we sure don't want it!

@sarinasmomma, I know me too! I said the shot may suck but it will work faster than anything else. We went and got him poison ivy scrub, calamine lotion and spray, but I don't want him to be uncomfortable all weekend.

@lizabeth.1294, the shot is amazing! Every time I've had to get it mine started drying up by the next morning

@sarinasmomma, I know! That's what I told him I said I used to get it all the time as a kid and would get it in my eyes and down my throat. I think they had one reserved for me every summer 😂. He hates needles and is excited about the shot just to feel better.
