Exclusively breastfeeding is stressful 😫. I'm so tired all the time but I want to wait to introduce bottles...I need encouragement! This was my goal from the beginning but it's all new to me so I just have to give myself time to adjust right? 😅
@littletonjulie2005, yeah my son did great today transitioning!
It was stressful for me in the beginning. I had to have a lactation consultant help me. It's a great bonding between you and your baby that no one can have. Your baby will be okay attaching to a bottle. My lil girl didn't have any issues on going back and forth. Enjoy
@txyogagirl, but I'd do all that stuff if that's what works for me and my son. I don't mind finding the time tbh, it frees me of more time to not only take care of myself but to take care of my other child. But thanks for the advice
@avaandbri do whats best for you..u dont have to explain to anybody!
@brianna_, ok yea but that's even more work still have to wash bottles warm bottles find time to pump and ur to early to pump yet. We have a breastfeeding group so u wanna join
@supermom1104, omg girl. I knew signing up to be a single mom was gonna be a bit challenging but I didn't realize how tired I would be ALL THE TIME. And I have 2 part time jobs where I don't have the luxury to pump so that's why I have her on formula. Not to mention still trying to keep up with my freelance business...btw your daughter is super cute!
@katiesmiles1, ugh I can't wait until it's like that! Thank you girl 💓💓
Hey it's hard now but so worth it in the end , I can tell you I was in the same boat I was struggling so much with breast feeding but now Iv gotten the hang of it and when I wake up to nurse him he latches so well that I can just lay back and wait till his finished , keep up the great work you and baby got got this girly 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
@txyogagirl, and his feeding are still really sporadic so I never get a certain amount of sleep every night nor does he eat at a certain time frame, I wish tho 😫
@txyogagirl, well that's awesome! But nooo I meant introduce bottles as in put breast milk in the bottles and breastfeed him. My daughter was formula fed and it SUCKED! I hated getting up at night to get water and buying cans of formula every month. I love being about to be his food source but I don't want to be the only option for days when I really need a break or just wanna get out the house away from him
@brianna_, okay I'm not sure then I was thinking of u weren't then I would say no don't give into bottle at all. My son is 8m and EBF never has never had a bottle and has ate every 3 hr since his birth I can't imagine having to get up go in the kitchen take out water mix formula all that instead I just sleep shirtless and get 11 hours a night I don't even feel him eat I have no clue how much he eats or when he does bc our bodies work together. He knows and my body knows it's crazy it's like he does it In his sleep same with being out I would hate to carry a diaper bag with water and can formula find a bathroom or hot water it's all just a hassle easier To pop a boob out 😀as for the attachment like the other lady well I want that it's my overall goal they r only little once I want us to enjoy the time we have now together bc I'm 10 years I wish I could have it back and really in 18. We never know our future and even when we're tired of god was to take either of us we would wish we had cherished it. I know it's hard try cosleeping with baby leave boob out u will have to latch now bc baby is so young but in no time they figure out how to get in the mouth on there own. Also don't want it to sound like I don't care for baby he plenty healthy 21lb at 8m little chunk happy and can be and keeps boob in his mouth 24/7 lol
@txyogagirl, I'll start looking in a few weeks but yes I will
@brianna_, u can do it I have faith in u. Will u be working?
Haha i did and still do the same thing. Im an insomniac. My kid will be asleep by 9 and im still awake for no reason haha
@supermom1104, maannn i STILL catch myself scrolling on here or watching tv when he's knocked out then regretting it sooo bad 😂😅. He's asleep now so thanks again! 😴😊
Youre welcome. I hope you get some well deserved sleep girl! Another advice is sleep when baby sleeps omg lol did i wish ppl told me that more.
@supermom1104, thank you for the encouragement and kind words! I def needed it 💓💓
And thats PERFECTLY OKAY! I didnt..i used formula a few times i was just too damn tired to do anything especially right when i came home from the hospital i had other ppl feed her a bottle while i slept..youre sanity and your health and you getting rest is important too!!! But me giving her a bottle didnt last she got constipated from the formula and i felt to bad to give it to her again. So i tried again at 4 5 months and same thing happened. Some babies do good with supplements others dont but if u want/need to try it. Do it!!!
@supermom1104, yeah I don't think I want to wait until 6 weeks honestly. My sanity might not let me , but yeah like you said I want him to be able to find comfort in the bottle as well as me and have that option if I'm just too tired or if I need a break.
I totally understand @avaandbri i didnt plan to do it past 6 months lol it just happened became a habit thats also become really really hard to break with her because of the comfort..she doesnt really need it anymore she just wants the comfort of it which is okay its just so stressful and sometimes even annoying lol im a single mom too so it can be at times so much easier to just breastfeed because doing everything by yourself as it is , is tiring as hell
@brianna_, lol. Do what you feel is right as a Mom. This is your journey.
@supermom1104, I wanna get that far! I'm only 6 months in. I love breastfeeding, I just can't when she's not with me. And I've been having a hard time pumping as a single mom working all the time.
You can do it girl!!!! I can say definitely introduce bottles..mainly because you will want him to have comfort from something else besides you..a pacifiar a blanket whatever because i made that mistake with my daughrer and shes so attached to my breast its ridiculous. Its oka to comfort feed now but later on its good to rule out comfort over hunger..i didnt realize that til about 8 9 months 😣
@avaandbri, thank you, I need the encouragement because I feel like everyday I'm like "yeah today is the day you go to being breast and bottle fed! My goal is to make it the 6 weeks exclusively BF then introduce bottles but the way I'm feeling he's getting a bottle tonight 😫😭.
I feel your pain. I'm 6 months in and I supplement with formula ONLY when baby is not with me. I work 2 part time jobs so she gets formula at daycare but is exclusively breastfed with me. If you have to supplement know that it's ok. Sometimes as mothers we need help. Keep up the good work!
I know this sounds sooo fkedup but sometimes i wanna get into a bad accident so my husband sees exactly all the things i do ... and how wrong he is by saying i don’t do enough ( not in those words but the jist of it ) anyway .... i think this all the time . Maybe then he will think differently .
I know my man gotta hustle and make that Mula but I'm so tired of bae working over time I hate being lonely all day and I miss him so much grr ugh 😢😣

There was once a time when I had a lot of time to myself lol
So I crocheted. I kinda miss it 🤷🏻♀️
Can we lift each other up as women?!
With all this nonsense going on i think it’s time we left each other Mother’s up instead of tearing them down!! So what’s one nice thing u can say about another person on this app? I have 2 friends that i talk to outside this app and I think they are both wonderful mothers and people in general. I won’t name names cause they know who they are. So now u all go!! I think we need this tonight!!!
I go to bathroom every second and I have round ligament pain all the time
@littletonjulie2005, but thank you 💓💓
