Omg that watermelon looks good. What are some things to look for when choosing a good one, they have to be yellow on the bottom & flat right? Do you know if they have to have yellow spots like all around the watermelon too or should they just have a yellow spot on the bottom & be light green. I have heard that they should also feel heavy for their size. Last time I picked one that wasn't sweet enough...I think it was too green. Should it be light green? Lol. I need tips. I love watermelon. & that is a bigg one!!
@karleyy, well I bet on it with my hand hand listen and it doesn't matter where the yellow spot is just as long as it has one it also don't have to be flat. A nice round one is fine but the larger usually get a flat spot. This one was giant I will cut it tomorrow while I have guest but before I do I will sit baby next to it Lol heavy is a good sign bc water weights a lot generally the darker green is better bc the sun ripens it to be dark so if it's light it could have got less sun which they also say can make a white vein inside but I have seen the vein even on a good color it really depends on the type there are so many. I will bring a farm fresh one to our play date so we can all pig out 🐷🐷 they have giant ones at the place I go it's not a store it's a stand they are great quality
