Does any momma have a ten month old who doesn't crawl yet?! Violets dr isn't worried and said not every baby crawls, some go straight to walking but I still hate seeing people's reactions to when I tell them she's not yet but she does that rocking motion and kicks her feet when she's on her tummy so I feel like one day she'll take off and she's very petite for her age so idk if that has anything to do with it but the weird thing is she knows how to go backwards but not frontwards lol ugh coming vee, get ur butt in gear! 😩

That's very true. Not two babies are the same. My son acts like he was born to walk. He never had the urge to crawl. He was always a get up and go baby. Your Violet is just fine. I know they get heavy to carry around- but enjoy it while you can. My day mainly consists of saying "Bo no." "Don't do that" "come back here" "don't climb on that" ect. Lol
@stosha717, maybe Violet will do the same! People need to realize not all babies crawl.
My son is a year old. He is already walking barefoot and in shoes- barely falls anymore. He never crawled.
Heck yaaayyyy. If my mom offered to carry me today I would lol. Kids know by repetition. If I cry she will get me.
@beebaby, I do hold her a lot and cave in when she cries but I can't help it lol she's a smart cookie
She probably can but at the same time if I cry and you pick me, I can skip all the hard work lol

My son never crawled but he scoot around by dragging his butt around and began walking on his 1st bday

Babies do stuff when they are ready. Don't watch other kids and don't worry about peoples reaction. I would worry after a year plus. Not now. My son walked before he crawled and then crawled everywhere because he was scared to walk
My baby used to do that now I can't get him to stay still😂😂😂 you'll miss the backwards stage😂😂
Most babies go backwards before they go forwards! Lol it's easier for them. Don't worry momma, before you'll know it she'll be all over the place and you'll miss the days she was stationary lmao

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
Maybe I'm rushing my baby (knowing she's a preemie) but she hasn't rolled yet.. Doctors wasn't really worried when I took her to her Nicu appointment. She scooting backwards and even getting into the crawling position, but she won't roll only when she's mad and that's very seldom..

I wish my son was still or crawling! He's been walking since 7 1/2 months!?! I swear my heart jumps out my chest every time I see him get up you fear everything! Falls are the scariest especially when they bump their heads or hit their face on things and girl when they climb your are always on edge and constantly yelling 'no no' 'get down''your gonna get hurt' and kissing lots and lots of booboos! Your baby will crawl cherish every second of the lovin your getting now cuz when they walk they get so much more independent!
