So far my daughter wants nothing to do with cows milk!! Lol. At least she drinks water.
Exactly... if I were you I'd do some research of my own though (working in the medical field, I actually highly recommend 😊)! Try the American Pediatric Association website... it's a great resource.
@tammij1313 My doctor says otherwise but everyone's different. Do what works for your child
Also, both can cause GI distress in the amount that children need to consume in a day...
@rmreed, Right, but those are both extremely low in protein, calcium, fats, and almond milk is high in sugar...
@lizzy_boo93, Oh & if u figure out a solution for this please share w/me!! We're having the SAME issue...lol
@tammij1313 That's why stuff like almond milk and coconut milk are good options!
@rmreed, Agreed, but u have to transition them from formula to milk at some point, right?
I mean they're not baby cows they shouldn't have cows milk as It is @tammij1313
My son still uses a bottle because i actually switched him to toddler formula when he turned 1 since he isnt the best eater and just got introduced to almond milk. I just dont give him the almond milk in his bottle only the formula
@dylansmom, that's good! Lol my daughter is having trouble with her sippy cup she's hellbent on using a bottle.
If u click on the picture the container explains a little more about the milk...
I give my son almond milk... well i started introducing it last week in a sippy cup and he takes it so far
@lizzy_boo93 They have unsweetened almond milk...I put it in my coffee!
@rmreed, I've asked her doctor about that and he told me to try and avoid sweetened milks until she's at least 18 months and I'm like "well what do I do" and he said to just keep offering it.
@lizzy_boo93, 🤗
