#momlifegear
Moms,
We're launching our product review initiative here at mom.life and we are super excited about being able to help as many new and expecting moms as possible, but of course we need your help!
We're compiling product reviews on all of the products we think mom needs/wants in her new mom life. We want to be the best source online for new moms to learn about products real moms (all of you) think are good, bad, and downright ugly. Over the course of 2017 we will be coming to you to get your feedback on the items we know you need, the items you've told us you like, and some we've heard aren't that awesome.
Please help us make mom life a breeze by sharing your opinions.
We'd love to know which infant car seat you own and what you think about it. Tell us why it was great, what the challenges were, why you'd totally register for it again, or why you wanted to return it. We want to hear it all so our moms can make informed decisions about what to buy for their babies! #momlifegear
Thank you!

@lifewithlynniejade88, we love our graco click connect too. Our son is 6 months and is still fitting great.
I loved the babytrend EZ ride 5 travel system when Micah was in his infant seat. Now we moved on to a convertible and we got the safety 1st go and grow air and I absolutely love it. It was easy to install, he's comfortable, the harness is easy to adjust and best of all, it's the last car seat I'll ever have to buy. It goes all the way up to 120 pounds and a backless booster.
Graco click connect 35 Is what we use & it's been great! 8 months old & still fits in it.
#3 Graco, love mine, it's easy to put in and out of the car, I would recommend it and buy another one if I ever need it.
I have the Cybex Aton Q Platinum. I use it with the Uppababy Vista stroller using adapters. As a car seat, I like that it's cushy and comfortable for my daughter. I like that it has so many safety features like the extenders for additional side impact protection and the load leg on the base. I like the extended sunshade, although I wish Cybex took a cue from Uppababy and put UV protection in the sunshade. I think the car seat is a bit heavy, especially compared to the Nuna. I don't love the way it works with the Uppababy adapters. To remove it from the adapters, you have to press down while you pull up. Now I'm a pro, but for awhile I was very scared about dropping the car seat while I was trying to do that maneuver. If I could buy gear all over again, I might just get the Mesa and stick with one manufacturer, but the Cybex works and is really safe, so I feel comfortable with my daughter in it.
I have #5 the Disney light. So I'll see how well it is once baby comes
I started with evenflow sensor safe and although I loved the sensor part, I didn't like the seat. It had my baby sitting upright too high and his head was always dangling on his chest lowering his oxygen intake. I got rid of that one and switched to Graco snugride and haven't had any problems with that one.
I had the graco infant car seat that goes with the coconut jogger butttt I swear by Britax. I have my daughter in the britax marathon car seat and I love it! And as soon as I was comfortable enough with her being able to hold her head up I put her in the big car seat. It's a great thing for moms who are on a budget because it last from when they're 1 month, pretty much until they're ready for a booster seat. Saves money and is amazing for safety purposes!
I also used the Disney light my daughter is on the smaller side. So I used a carseat cushion I got from babies r us. I also didn't likr the base it felt more secure without it.
I also brought it, I'm just wondering if it's possible to change color??
I had evenflo and I loved it. It was light and easy to install and use! Parenting is hard enough without having to take hours to figure out the damn car seat. Lol.
@kyntonsmommy, I'm glad that your son was okay 🖤 and that you are!
I used the Disney Light. The design is adorable, especially the Minnie Mouse ears. It is very light weight and I enjoyed using it. The only downside for me was there was not enough slack in the straps and buckle. My daughter could not stay in it past about 7 months. Over all I was very happy with it.
@scecil71 i like the evenflo thats the one I'd chose
Where's the peg perego? Hands down safest car seat in my opinion. But I would definitely pick the Britax as my second option!!
We have and love the graco snug ride!! About to upgrade to the graco myride convertible car seat
I honestly LOVE Graco. Besides the obvious it wasn't super heavy which was a plus.
We have a chicco keyfit 30. I love our seat. Super easy install, using the latch system I can install her base in 2 minutes, so if we need to switch cars it's not a problem and we didn't have to spend $80 on an extra base since it switches so quickly and easily. It's also a great seat for preemies or small babies because the lowest slot for the harness is so low. We like it so much we bought the chicco nextfit for our convertible seat. We'll keep our current keyfit until it expires but if we have more babies after that we will definitely be buying another one!
I got the chicco key fit car seat and stroller. I loved them! Only problem is the stroller is only for the car seat so once they outgrow that car seat you have to buy a new stroller as Well.
Graco click connect. LOVED IT! Was perfect and never had a problem!
I have the Britax B-safe 35 for my Little one. I used the Britax infant car seats with my previous two kids and we absolutely love them!! They are easy to install and use and super safe! Britax is my brand of choice for safety and convenience!
#momgear i had the chicco keyfit...its ok..didnt last long bcuz my cub got tall fast
I used to have Baby Trend car seat. I would always go back to it. No complaint for me. It was super light to carry. My biggest reason I'd go back to it is because I got into a bad accident with my son in the car. And his carseat did its job. The carseat stayed intact and my son didn't get injured and he was only 3 months old. I will recommend it to any mom. Now I am using the Graco My Ride 65 Convertible Car seat, Sully, and it is amazing and my son loves it and it will be with him for quite a while. I recommend both of these car seats to a first time mom.
I have the evenflo sensor safe and I love it it's light, easy to clean, I love that it chimes if the baby comes unbuckled having a 3YO who has unbuckled her brother a few times the chime is very helpful
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
