Ok so I have to go to trial for child custody because I said no to my ex having my son 1 night every other weekend while I'm still breastfeeding... How fair is that?! Like what doesn't my ex understand about his son is partially breastfed and if he's gone for one night my milk can completely diminish? My milk is already low and my son typically nurses the most from my during the night and mornings and nap time. Why can't he just be a decent man and be like ok until she's done breastfeeding ( probably 18 months) then he can have him over night... Why does he have to be such a dick about it? I understand he wants alone time with him and all but he's 8 months old! I'm all he knows and I'm looking out for the best interest of My child and he just wants what he wants. I'm not trying to keep him from our child! That's not at all what I'm doing but ugh sigh shit is stressful. Now I'm scared to have to go through all this.

I'm not successful at pumping unless I would be on board with that. @beebaby,

Sigh, I'm so at a loss. I was hoping it could be settled today without a trial and then my ex and I sit outside the court room the whole time while the lawyers who know barely anything try to figure it out? I'm meeting with my lawyer Monday so after I talk to him I'll decide if I want to try and see if my ex and I can come up with some type of agreement our selves( but knowing him probably not) @beebaby,
Mimi·
I think you'll be denied because you have the option to pump love just coming from the justice side of things but I totally understand you from a mothers stand 💜 goodluck to you

I wish I could talk some knowledge into my ex's brain and maybe I can get some info from my LC to email him and let him have some insight into it. But I know him, and I highly doubt he's going to be understanding even with all the stuff I could send him. He wants what he wants. But I shouldn't have to give up breastfeeding so he can have over night visits. Like I think that's lousy on his end for not being understanding of that and the benefits that gives his son 😕@beebaby,
Jess·
I just barely pump anything 😔 I don't want to lose my milk because I can't pump. I think that's rotten of his dad to not understand that. I guess I'll talk to my lawyer Monday and see what he saids and if he thinks I'll lose then I'll talk to my ex about just doing the one night and try to pump even though I barely get anything. I just want to cry 😢😢😢@skysmommy04
Mimi·
So if you barely pump does baby stay hungry or does baby get enough? Ugh this so sucks is he just being mean or why is he doing this I mean obviously he wants to see baby but can't he just visit for now until your comfortable spend the day something?
Jess·
He won't agree to not having him for over nights 🙄 I don't know why. My lawyer was offering letting him have every other weekend day visits for 4+ hours. ( he usually only sees him once a month for like 2 hours even though I give him free range whenever) my son supplements with formula along with breastfeeding. @skysmommy04

@missjess I would say look up relactation and see if it would be something you could do. If you need help I am successfully doing it right now and can try to help. Sounds like a rough situation, hope you can try and enjoy your evening.
Jess·
Ugh I'm stressed@sierravictorias, someone posted somethings out relactation yesterday but it didn't go into specifics

It's just a slow and patient process. A lot of power pumping, fenugreek, and water.
Jess·
I know patience is everything but Fenugreek slowed down my milk 😕 I tried it before. Power pumping sucks, to be perfectly honest. Like I don't have time to do it either. I can pump every so often but not like ever half hour 15 mins like they say. I've tried but momma is only one person taking care of an 8 month almost 9 month old @sierravictorias,
