When did everyone pack a hospital bag and what did you put in it? Do I have to bring diapers and wipes for the baby or does the hospital provide them?
No, they have premade bottles there! I would encourage pumping and bottle feeding before trying formula
@owenjacesmama, if I can't breastfeed should I bring formula for backup?
Some people can't actually breastfeed like myself, I meant more like if she doesn't want to formula feed in case she can't strictly breast feed@ellieinmybelly
This sounds silly but baby finger nail clippers on top of everything everyone else is saying. My daughter had long nails and they had no clippers! Lol
Lol I packed the day of labor , I just packed 2 really lose tang tops to breast feed with, and lose sweat pants , also I packed just toiletry iteams , shampoo conditioner, soap , and my face wash , th hospital provided everything else , including the stuff for the baby I just brought his take him outfit , they provided clothes for his stay , diapers , wipes everything, I wouldn't over pack because you'll have a lot of freebies to take home
For me 2 nightys, 1 outfit, deo, breastpads, brush, travel sizes shampoo and conditioner toothbrush and toothpaste underwear
Usually hospitals have clothes for baby during your stay but I brought my own, brought a boogie sucker, extra receiving blankets... I over packed w my son & regret it. If your going to breastfeed I suggest bringing a pump
Bring a few diapers and wipe. I'm bringing 4 pajamas for the baby since I will be there for 4 days also a couple of oncey just incase she has a blowout. I also have it packed with the regular suctioner, comb, hand mittens, burp rags, socks, lotion, soap lol
This is the baby's stuff only.
Just clothes and deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrush things that you use daily... the hospital provide wipes and pampers but you bring one or two clothes for the baby @autumnsites1916,
I'd pack it sooner rather than later lol. From experience. You still have a few weeks though. I'd have it done before 32 weeks though
@sawyersmom, I'm 30 weeks and my mom asked today if I had packed it yet and I thought it was a little early still
I went into labor before I packed one and the hospital provided everything lol
when did you ladies pack your baby's diaper bag?
& when did you pack your hospital bag?
what did everyone pack in their hospital bag and babys hospital bag ? and if your SO stayed with you like mine is , what did he bring ?
When did everyone start packing their hospital bag?
When did or is everyone starting on hospital bags?
Vaginal birth
For mamas who’ve had vaginal births, how long did you stay in the hospital after you gave birth? Did you leave same day or the day after?
The only thing I wished I'd packed the first time was clothes for my husband too. He slept at the hospital those first few nights and neither one of us even thought about it until he was in the same clothes. 😂 For baby I brought 3 or 4 outfits and socks. This time I'm going to pack all the kids matching shirts so I don't have to worry about someone else putting them in the wrong outfits. For me it was comfy pants and nursing tanks, slippers and shower stuff. I probably packed it all around 35-37 weeks just in case. 😊
