Neighbor kid is about to not be allowed over.... I love the family they have became amazing friends…

Neighbor kid is about to not be allowed over.... I love the family they have became amazing friends but their son comes over and hits our animals his mom is aware as he does it to theirs but I have a Persian cat that's old and he's a good baby he stays to himself and never hisses or scratches he's very loving and the kid will come over walk in and just hit the cat and same goes for our dog. I just don't understand why. If I was my fur babies I wouldn't be so sweet to the kid who hits me. He is the only kid and just mean as can be and a spoiled brat.
