Question To ladies on maternity leave, Ive been on maternity leave since December, and every month I'm getting around £450 and the tax £100 each month without fail! Does anyone else get taxed on maternity? Is this right?

But I am on maternity allowance, not statuary maternity pay, as I work part time and weren't entitled to it and I'm on £400 a month xx

If you work under a certain amount of hours you shouldn't be paying any tax, national insurance etc. Did you pay tax when you was working Hun? Xx

I've not been getting taxed on my smp ring up they will owe you a refund xx
