Abigail did a great job latching and suckling tonight. I am so proud of my little girl. Hopefully we can work together and build my supply for her. ♡

I think practice nursing while they're doing the gavaged feeds is huge in helping them understand how breastfeeding works! We were able to leave the nicu breastfeeding at 36 weeks gestational and we're still breastfeeding now.

YES! She is so good at latching and suckling. I am so impressed. We have only tried 3 times so far but last night she did amazing!
Awww, great job mama and baby!! It's so awesome *when they latch on. =] I remember the first time my 29 weeker latched on in the nicu (32-33 weeks gestational) he did so well for having such a tiny mouth. Did you get her latched during her feed?

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom I was pumping a lot but my PPD caught up with me. We are so excited my body is so willing to produce and be so bountiful! We are so happy and just enjoying our life. ♡
