I had it when I was pregnant with my son from 8 weeks to 27 weeks. I always would sip on ginger ale or eat crackers. but I got to where I couldn't keep that down sometimes so I got on to drinking Ensure drinks. 1 or 2 a day helped me a lot I could keep it down.

Yes, I had it through my whole pregnancy. It was hell. Nothing worked for me.I was always going to the hospital for dehydration, malnourishment, and low blood pressure. I had so much medication to take for HG and acid reflux. The medication that they give me would work for a while and then stop. My OB order me to have a IV kit for home so I wouldn't have to go to the hospital every week.

Yes! I had it my whole pregnancy. I was on diclegis and it was a big help. And its safe to take. Also try the nausea pops. They sell them at target. They helped a lot too.

@ajaye25 oh cool i didnt know you can get your own IV kit. Is this something that the doctors have to prescribe you or do you buy it on your own?

I really feel for you. I didn't have anyone to talk to who can relate. Everyone kept telling me it was normal until they witnessed me in action. Can you hold down water at least? I couldn't.

@ajaye25 i had it with my last 2 pregnancies with no help and no one to believe me. To be honest i dont know how i survived those two, I've also had to have an abortion in the past because it got so bad it literally felt like i was dying. It hasnt come on strong yet im just 5 weeks and 5 days and it usually starts for me around 6 or 7 weeks and im so scared. I finally have a doctor who knows about it and put in a referral to an OBGYN that knows a lot about HG too, i should know by today or tomorrow if my insurance approves it and i cant wait. I heard the sooner you take meds and take care of yourself the better and i really hope so cause i want to have this baby.
