Need advice please. First time mom. I've been having contractions since 9:30pm and it's now 3am And I have been timing them, they are lasting about 2.5 minutes about every 3.5 minutes. They are getting worse but I don't know how much pain is too much before I go in. I don't wanna go in and they just say go home your not dialated. What should I do? I've tried sleeping through them and I can't. Please help!?

I have called 2 times. At first they said to take a warm bath and if they go away then it's braxten hicks, if they continue and get worse the. They are real. I took a bath and they have been getting progressively worse since. I called back a couple hours ago and she said that I can come in if I want to and get checked but the chances are that I'll get sent home. I just don't know what to do at this point. I hate not knowing what labor is going to be like since it's my first time.
I would go to the hospital. Everyone's labor is different and everyone has different levels of pain tolerance. When I was pregnant my dr told me that if my contractions are 4-5 min apart and lasting a min or longer that I should go in to get checked.
