Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Totally irrational so please no judgement... baby daddy is over for visitation and he took Karoline's picture and it infuriated me. I don't want him having pictures of my daughter. He just posts them on social media and claims how we keep him from Karoline and what a great dad he is even though he doesn't do shit. How do I get over this mamas? I'm really struggling with it lately. I just don't want him to have any part, seeing him with my daughter disgusts me .
Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
i finally let him do it I finally let DF throw away my foundations. He says I look better without it. He said he hates seeing me cover my face with make up when I can just wear mascara and eyeliner. He says it makes me look fake and he said he's not saying it to be mean, hes saying it because he cares. Im glad he's real with me. He says I have natural beauty. He says he doesn't like it when I dye my hair or wear make up because he loves my natural beauty. I know some girls feel as though that they need make up but they don't. Make up to me is just to do it for fun and sometimes when I feel insecure. Hes the only man that has made me feel beautiful without my hair straightened, without make up on and in my baggy clothes. I can burp in front of him, I can do weird things in front of him, etc. He has taught me so many things in the last (almost) 3 years and im so grateful for him. He taught me how to make pork chops and steaks, how to play some videogames, how to make white rice, how to budget, etc.

If he's anything like my hubby he just needs to be told what you want. I used to try to hunt around at what I wanted or what was important to me and he just didn't seem to catch on. Now I just flat out say "hey our anniversary is coming up, let's do something special". Y'all can plan it together, that way he knows exactly what you want and it can be a special day for the 2 of you.

@jessclee, I've tried to make suggestions on things we could do and all he says is "yeah maybe"

Tell him straight up..for me it's the opposite lol I don't remember dates but my SO does and he is the one who reminds me and I just plan everything else

I don't know if it's because I've been with mine for 8 years, but when a certain day is coming up I remind him of the specific day and make sure he's aware WE BETTER have plans. lmfao

@ciciham why don't you just make plans. If you know he's not the type to plan or do small gestures, why beat yourself up about it? Why plan to be heartbroken? It's both of you guys' anniversary. Maybe if you plan something he'll see how important it is to you. Words doesn't work for all men. Some of them have to be shown in order for them to understand. When you talk to him about the importance of the date, don't beat around the bush, just be straight out and break it down to him.

Maybe try surprising him with something so that way he's surprisped and maybe steps up and try's to do the same.

@jessclee Amen and spot on lol. And all of you are so correct! They don't know what we don't tell them. So yeah either plan the night yourselfand surprise him (which may be a really sweet surprise for him and make him feel special too) or just tell him youd like to make plans with him for just you two. :-)
M & M·
@cassienka I agree. A lot of times we're expecting the men to make us feel special, but they want to feel special and appreciated also.

My anniversary is the 23rd. Which sucks cause its a tuesday but i know my husband doesnt know how to plan ANYTHING lol. I accept it. I have ours planned out. I told him basics of what we are doing but not telling him where we are going for dinner and im going to let him pick the movie we see. I take it as he does so much for me and my family. Im able to be a stay at home mom while he works. It is my day to spoil him. He doesnt complain when we dont have money or cant go out. Theres nothing wrong with planning your own stuff.

@roche.mommy6435, @cassienka, @chocolate_drop, @mari_c, thanks ladies, but I always plan everything and if I don't then the day just comes and goes and is treated like any other day. I always plan surprises for special days and stress how much the day means to me, but he does not do it in return. I just wish he understood how much those gestures would mean to me
M & M·
@roche.mommy6435 agree 100%. Sometimes we forget what our men do to make sure we're good as a family. I'll plan as much as I have to because my husband makes it possible for me to be a stay at home mom. His b-day is the week after next and I planned a 4-day vacation for us just to celebrate him.
M & M·
@ciciham maybe you'll just have to accept the fact that it's just not his thing. I'm sure there's something he's into that you aren't. At least he still participants when you plan things. He may not plan special things in return, but there are other things he does I'm sure.

@chocolate_drop thats awesome! I wish i could do more for him but right now things are tight but i know he appreciates what i do for him. He got overly happy when i got him a new chevy shirt haha.
M & M·
@roche.mommy6435 as long as it makes him feel special, they don't really care how big or small it is. My dad was excited about the Chevy shirt I got him a few years back.

@chocolate_drop, but he doesn't really appreciate the effort I put into planning special things for him. He just kinda tags along or says he's not in the mood to do anything

@ciciham well, I personally wouldn't make a big deal out of celebrating a day. Maybe you can start having a girls night out on those days that are important to you and leave him on daddy duty all day. Don't set yourself up for heartbreak and stressvover something you can't change. He's not the type and I'm sure you aren't just finding that out. I know it'll be ideal and special to have that time with your husband, but sometimes you have to do what makes you happy too.
M & M·
@ciciham you have to understand that men aren't like women, so you'll beat yourself up trying to get him to feel how you feel about certain things.
