When they induce you do they keep you there until baby is born or they can still send you home? Is my first time being induced lol

@maybby_2017, as soon as you're having to stop talking while having one, it's time for it. Maybe even sooner. Really just any discomfort lol

@anmarie1, I agree! Mine didn't work either. Get it early on so you can be relaxed in early labor and have enough energy to push when the time comes
And ask for the epidural sooner then later cuz once my labor got going I went from a 4 to 10 in 30 minutes and got it cuz they didn't check me till after they put it in and it didn't help at all
From the time I go induced it was about 18 hours I was induced at 7am oct 30 2015 and had her at 1:32am on the 31
You'll do great :) ask for epidural anytime you feel like you need it!

They start with cervadil, a medicated insert kinda like a tampon. It's gotta stay in for 12 hours. After that you get one hour to shower or do whatever then they start pitocin through the IV. That's the medicine that makes your contractions really strong. Couple hours later you'll be holding your precious baby :) it's not so bad!

They kick start labor and assist labor until you're in hard labor. Its usually pretty quick
Deadens how you handle pain could be sooner but don't work to much you'll do grate
Also when you don't like something the nurse is doing let them know you don't like it
