What a week. Friday, I got the call that my father was in the hospital. He suffered a massive stroke. I was on the first flight out of Huntington with this little guy. He's still nursing so he needs to be with his mama. My husband stayed home with our older children. Today, I had to say goodbye to my dad. He couldn't hear me, couldn't feel my hand in his, and was in no pain. I have had the hardest two days of my life, but he is my ray of sunshine. He has been such a good baby, helping my mama to smile during the hardest moments and keeping me going. He's tuckered out now in the hotel room, and we've still got a lot of pain to get through this week and next. I am so glad I brought him. His presence and laugh is such a comfort right now to everyone here.
Prayers for you and your family!
