My son is almost 8 months and not crawling yet he's trying to pick himself up. We've tried everything what are some tips…

My son now just crawling at ten months non stop he knew how to but refused to he would just army crawl maybe he just needs time ?

@elysiansmama that can affect hand eye cordination. My baby wants to just walk but im trying to get him to crawl first.

@elysiansmama, I put toys with lights and sounds in the floor for him to try and reach

I tried art for her to play while she was on her tummy and like other mom said putting toys out of reach and putting her on he floor often

Technically crawling is not a milestone so he may go straight to walking and standing

That was my first baby. Lazy butt 😂 I put him on tummy time a lot. He was late to do things physically but once he did it there was barely any uncertainty. It seemed to us he observed a lot until he was sure of himself. But don't skimp on the floor play. And I put toys just out of reach and on the couch so he would be motivated.
