Hi Mommies I Need Help. My Son Who Is 17 Months Old Has Had A Nasal Congestion For About 5 Months Now Everytime I Take Him To His Pediatrics I Tell Them That It's Still Bad And That It's Hard For Him To Breath & That I Night He Breaths Through His Mouth &a That He Sometimes Gasps For Air. I Ask What I Can Do To Help Him And I've Trued Everything They Have Told Me, For Example Saline Drops, outing him in a restroom with vapor, Vicks vaporizer, booger withdrawal, Allergy Medicine NOTHING I Mean Literally NOTHING Is Helping My Poor Baby Breath Better, Ive Taken Him To Te Emergency Room And They Say There's Nothing To Worry About Because His Lungs Sound Clear And That The Congestion Should Go Away By Its Self But Its Been Almost 6 Months And My Poor Baby Has Trouble Breathing Mostly At Night. Please Help Me, What Should I Do, Has Any Other Mom Experienced This?? TIA
He could have allergies... my son was like this when he was a toddler. Turned out he was allergic to cow milk
The breathing treatments works wonders for congestion my daugter was congested for like 2 weeks I did albuterol treatments and also a nebulizer machine. Dr was at first saying she just had a virus turns out she was allergic to the dog and unfortunately we had a leak so mold grew she was also reacting to that....ask the dr about breathing treatments
@michelle52129, thanks for the tips and I sure will thanks again
@michelle52129, u Have no idea how bad it makes me feel to hear how it's difficult for him to breath but thank you and I'll try to get him this machine and if this doctor doesn't allow it Than I'll find another doctor that can help him
I hope you find the right treatment for him hope he gets better soon can't believe they are letting him just deal with it that's B's it pisses me off...
Nawl I don't believe that yes I'll take him to someone else if I was you and I know how u feel listen to him with all that yucky stuff poor baby 😞
@rightinthemiddle, ive checked but he doesn't have deviated septum
My daughter always had albuterol treatments and now at 4 was diagnosed with asthma but they still just give her albuterol but now it's through an inhaler. Have you ever just looked straight into his nose to see if he has a deviated septum? It's super common, I have one myself and it's always caused me problems.
@michelle52129, doctors aren't all the same but if his doctor doesn't want to prescribe it For Him Than I'll just go to another pediatric because it's crazy how bad my sons Congestion is and all they are saying is that it will go away on its own which isn't true
They have different kinds of machines and I'm sure you can buy them yourself its crazy his doctor haven't prescribed that that's crazy my daughter doctor be on it she don't be playing she treats her babies like they are her own
@michelle52129, thank you so much I'll try to talk to his Pediatrics to see if they can prescribe it for him
@michelle52129, I'm happy to hear she's doing better & what machine is it ? And does the doctor have to prescribe it or can I just go out and buy it?
My daughter have really bad congestion and sometimes have wheezing with it so her doctor ordered her a machine and I give her breathing treatments she sound much much better
@michelle52129, I Haven't Tried Any, Do You Recommend Anything?
Thank you so much I also hope he gets better soon & yes I will have to get him another doctor to check in him maybe I can get some answers @athomas
I would check another dr just for a second opinion. I know he is still young so that maybe why too. I hope he feels better soon poor baby.
@athomas, I hope not but I don't understand why they haven't done any test to see if he has asthma or allergies
I have no clue then. I wonder if he has allergies to something or asthma that they haven't diagnosed. @chavez.delma1220
@athomas, yes Ma'am I Do Use A Humidifier & Yes He's Propped Up Cause He Hates Sleeping Without A Pillow
Do have a humidifier at night and do you have him sleeping propped up?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...
