To be perfectly honest with you, labor and delivery is a very scary thing but if you have a good support system and keep that little baby in your mind you will do fine especially if you deliver in the hospital, for some reason that eased my mind because I was surrounded by people who knew what they were doing just in case. And I actually had a midwife lol

@shiningstar091680, everyone is different and everyone has different stories but mine I was in labor for 17 hours, I waited as long as I could but I had an epidural and it wore off when I was pushing, and I pushed for a whole hour. Compared to other stories I was blessed, and I didn't have any complications it just took forever lol. And yes it did hurt like a mo fo

The nurses walk you through everything. I never even took lamas class. Know your limits. If you're in pain or exhausted, make sure it's known

Yes everyone is different! my first daughter I was in labor for 15 hours, and I deliver vaginally no epidural! The best advice I was ever given was to stay calm and don't lose it because once you lose it you would never be able to calm back down.

I would agree don't listen to people's stories and get worked up. Your going to have a plan and it's probably not going to go that way. I kept getting comments about how ppl were in labor and pushing for three hours and first timers this and that. None of it related to my experience at all but it psyched me out. From Friday I said this baby is coming Tuesday and she did. Then I said I think my water will break at 10pm with the rain and it did. And I just had a feeling in my heart is deliver at 3:33 and I did. Follow your heart in the moment and breathe!!!

For me I need to know as much information as I can before going in there it helps me greatly.
