@allyk.xmommy, they have you sit on the bed with a pillow under your arms and you bent over it with your back hunched, then they clean your back and get the numbing medication in you first, it's a quick pinch then they put the epidural in and it's a cold sensation and your lower body slowly goes numb. It's much better than suffering for hours in pain...at least for me my contractions were really strong and I couldn't sit here any longer in pain.

@allyk.xmommy, it was okay, it hurt a little bit getting stuck but after that it was smooth sailing and now I'm super numb and don't feel anything
How was it? I didn't have one with my son...considering doing it this time though
