So iam curious if anyone has been dealing with developmental delays.

My son is 7 months and os in physical therepy right now because he is still not rolling over. His shoulder blades are " butterflyed" outward and he doesnt put weight on his arms instead he holds them out front. He has issues with sitting up and losing his balance and instead of tumbling he fallls flat on his face.

He is very interactive smiles and laughs constantly. He sleeps through the night os eating solids and loves his books toys and bathtime.

He has torticollis and muscle tighteness which i think causes some discomfort and a lack of trying to roll. We go to the chiropractor and practice rolling and sitting and tummy time all day long.

Just curious if anyone else has had issues like this im not sure if i should be worried. Were doing all we can right now but i feel like its not enough and maybe were missing something.

This is my first child and according to pediatrician and physical therepist he should be rolling and is reluctant to use muscles in back!

If anyone has any personal experience with this issue or type of issue please reply!

Yes. My youngest didn't roll over or crawl until she was around 8 or 9 months. But I honestly think hers is due to surgeries and where she would have things on her arms to prevent her from moving.

@kaseynichole that's what I'm wondering with my son he has had an issue with his torticollis and shoulders not being in the right position since birth he tends to arches back a lot to look behind him instead of rolling over thanks for your response

My oldest has developmental delays with her speech and stuff. My youngest did with her developmental milestones when she was younger. But now she's great. It just takes time and work hon it'll all be ok.

My daughter still has delays. She's 7. She was in an early intervention program until age 3 that was amazing! I recommend finding one in your area! Also, you can always take your child to a developmental pediatrician. They're different than a regular ped and can offer more insight & resources :)

Don't look to far into it. Every single baby is different. There is a certain time frame when doctors suggest that they are able to do things, but ultimately it's going to be up to your baby when he or she is ready. My nephew is one month older than my son and he started crawling several months before Cayson but Cayson started walking at 10 months and my nephew still isn't walking. Just keep working with him and show him what to do and he will do it when he feels he is able!

@pepperland21, Your welcome, Cayson came out holding his head up! The doctors were very astonished at how strong he was at birth. Every single baby is different just like every pregnancy.
