So just a depressing moment. I stopped breastfeeding at 8 months due to Kacey weaning herself off. I still had milk frozen and everything. She is 14 months and she is slowing weaning off formula. So tonight as I'm looking at the frozen ones they are about a year old and we have no room, so I had to throw it out. They was frost bit on some and I could tell some had refrozen when we lost power. So i just didn't know how safe it was. So I cried, and I'm a bit devastated, actually really devastated. Everyone is looking at me like it's okay you can do it again with your next kid; no. That's not the point, that was my first time, it was the bond and the one thing I could give her, the thing I gave all my dedication too, that I made sacrifices for. It really hurts to have that reminder that my little girl is growing up, and I miss it. But I know we are going to grow more memories everyday and im just grateful for a healthy girl.

Women that haven't strictly breastfeed will never understand. In that I include men too. They'll never understand the value of breastmilk.

I agree.. one thing I cannot stand when some mothers who have NEVER breastfed their child/ren will come and tell me that my child is spoiled because she cries while being held and that she is not independent... who says that to someone?! The amount of words I wanted to say but I know what's best for my daughter and it really doesn't matter how many children some mothers have they will never understand until they breastfeed their child.

@t142, that's true. My MIL keeps telling me that my baby is gonna dry me out & that I need to give her formula. They don't understand the sacrifice that we do for our kiddo.

@sheilataina96, right! Like breastmilk matters. It's not just milk. I'm all for fed is best. But I loved breastfeeding and it was a huge part of my relationship with her

@megbaby07, I completely understand you. With my oldest, I stopped breastfeeding when she was 9 months old because I had PPD & the medication interfered with the breastfeeding. I cried for weeks after that. Also, what it's important it's that you did it. Sometimes, ppl judge us but, they never had breastfed a baby, or at least try to breastfeed a baby (obviously women). Lol
