CAN A UTI DURING PREGNANCY CAUSE A MISCARRIAGE? What r the risk of having a uti pregnant

How far along are you. I did mine early in pregnancy

I had a uti during my first few weeks of pregnancy. My doctor gave me some medicine to take 2 a day and it was gone in a week. Now I'm 26weeks pregnant

@shanicenettles93 your doctor will know what's safe to take. I can't remember the name of mine, but I also googled it and everything I found said it was safe.

No cause i didnt have a uti with my miscarriages... i was just saying i had miscarriages before... but when i had an uti my baby was fine... just to ease the worry...

@mermaidmeshy, was your antibiotic good to take I read somewhere where it's say they can cause a miscarriage

I've never had a UTI, until I got pregnant. Your doctor should be checking your urine anyway, but if you think you have one before your next appointment, call and let them know.

I read during weeks 6-24 women are increased risk for a uti.... but i had it twice with this pregnancy and she turned out fine and i had 2 miscarriages before.

If left untreated yes...

Yeah always get treated but they are common during pregnancy.

You have to get checked and they'll prescribe you an antibiotic to clear up the uti. It's not a good idea to leave it untreated.
