I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm not producing enough milk. I was engorged for a couple days and pumping and had tons. The laceration consultant told me to massage, and completely drain my breasts by nursing a lot and I did. But since then it doesn't seem like I'm filling up. Baby is at the breast constantly. I know he's getting a lot of milk bc he has plenty of diapers.. but when he's at the breast sometimes he just yells at it. Like he'll suck for a second and then start freaking out and if I squeeze I can see milk coming out but I have to squeeze and massage my breast for him to stay latched on. I want to start pumping to increase my supply but there's no time because he's always nursing.. I have another appoinent with the lactation consultant on Friday but I'm really worried and this sucks :(
@megsandbabes, my breastfeeding journey always has me questioning if I am doing it right! I am sure you are doing just what he needs. I really didn't start pumping until recently and I barely am able to pump one feeding ahead.
@cubanese, um yeah I guess that hits the nail on the head.. thank you
@michelle-, to increase for him. I feel like I'm not making enough to fill him up because he's never done....
To increase your extra supply or your milk supply for the baby? My breast never fill like they are full and we are 14 weeks in.
Hmmm. Sounds like cluster feeding. If you're getting as many wet diapers as much as you're feeding then yeah.
My breast are heavy and full with milk but when I squeeze nothing comes out and when I try to pump nothing is pumped into the breast pump its like I have milk but its stuck and wont come out...any tips or help on this.. i really would like to breastfeed my daughter....

not being able to pump so much milk really sucks. This is what I pumped from both of my breast 😔🙁😳
So I took my meds at like 9pm last night I woke up at 2:45am with my breast killing me... begging that I took meds should I keep the milk I pumped??
Is breastfeeding the same as bottle feeding but with breast milk? Like pumping out breast milk and bottle feeding it to baby?
What do you do if your producing to much breast milk??! I'm pumping and storing milk but now I feel like I went over board with pumping and now I'm producing way to much milk
Yeah that's what I'm worried about. Since I have to go back to work eventually and I know his feedings are just going to get bigger. Getting an ounce a day definitely isn't going to cut it. And I'm so set on him being EBF. I wasn't able to do it with my others. Thank you for the encouragement. @michelle-,
