I've had the same obgyn since I started going 4 years ago and I love her! I had her throughout my whole pregnancy before and now they do a new thing where I will get my regular obgyn for 2 appointments and then after that I have to have an an appointment with each of the doctors that are there for the rest of my appointments so that I can meet them all 😩 I get why they do that because who knows what doctor will be there to deliver my baby but I don't feel comfortable with anyone else and she knows me! Maybe I'm just over reacting but I'm a little upset about it.

Same thing happened to me as well. You get use to it and if you ever run into anyone you don't like you can request to never see them again and if you end up having any issues which I hope you don't you can just see the lady you like :)

You are not overreacting whatsoever! When I was pregnant with my son I saw my doctor until I was 28 weeks then I had to rotate between the other 4 doctors. They do that because there is no saying who will be on call when you deliver so they want you familiar with all the doctors. I hated seeing the other doctors. They all do things differently and take different precautions. Each time I went it was something different. I was sent to the hospital it seemed like after each appointment for either a growth scan or NST. It was frustrating. I just wanted to see MY dr. He knew my case, knew the way baby was developing was just fine. Never once questioned anything I was being tested for.
Now this pregnancy I'm able to see only my doctor. I asked him at my confirmation app if he could recommend any other doctor in the practice if he was unavailable. He told me to just see him. So if he's unavailable I just see his nurse practitioner. Things have been so much smoother.
