So I'm sick again 😩 and can't stop crying. I have an appt with the specialist tomorrow to discuss baby's size and I just want this week to be over. On top of it we're also going to Disneyland. Wth did I get myself into.
Ok I do feel much better now. Wow those were little guys. I was 5 lbs 11oz at birth too. Born at 42 weeks. Thank you again though. It really is nice having some reassurance.
*only* nearly 8 pounds.. lol. My first was 5lbs 11oz (40 weeks) and my second was 2lbs 1.3oz (29 weeks). I'm sure you and baby will be fine. Positive thoughts. Positive vibes. It's just something they'll continue to monitor. I think, if there's a way to say it without glorifying it, one of my "favorite" parts of the whole baby measuring small (and low fluid) thing was I got extra ultrasounds and NST done so it was like a bonding experience with my son before he made his entrance to the world.
@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, I was a small baby and my son was 2 weeks late and only 7lbs 15 oz. I think the fact they brought it up as a concern is what really has me worried. I really do feel like she's gonna be ok though. I just need to breath lol
My first son measured 2 or so weeks behind was born small for his gestational age but he was fine. And then my second son was 2-3 weeks behind in growth. He was born at 29 weeks but he came out (basically) a pound bigger than expected. Sometimes ultrasounds give false readings. Don't worry too much.
@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, thank you. I've been hearing that from a lot of people so it has sort of calmed my nerves a little. I'm just a worrier by nature. My gut is telling me everything is ok. We will see tomorrow.
@mermaidmeshy, thanks. I had a pass as well but let it go for the same reason. We were going 2 a week and still spending 100 bucks every time we went. It was Disneyland or groceries lol.
I hope you're feeling better before your trip to Disneyland! I miss being able to go, had to let my pass expire because it's just too damned expensive.
