So when I was about 12 my sisters husband at the time took advantage of me and had his way with me for 3 years and had me so afraid to say anything and when I did no one believed me. Now everyone knows what happened my sister is back with him and my brother is graduating Saturday. Her ex husband is going to be there and at the lunch. He's a very huge trigger for my depression and he's the root of my problems. I texted my brother telling him me, my husband, and melody wouldn't be there because we all don't want to be around him. This is what he said... am I in the wrong? Because I'm so confused...

@mellysmommy0805, im sorry you went thru that, my own brother molested me for years when i lived with him an i told our family an they asked him an he lied an they believed him, my dad was dead when i was 9 an my mom was a drug attic who lived outta state so i had no one so i kinda understand ur pain

Your brother shouldn't even allow him to his graduation for what he's done to you, how would anyone in their right mind set let a man like that near kids or let alone anyone who's done something like that to someone!
You're not lot in the wrong! Why would you want to sit around someone who did that to you! As your sister she should have your back
Definitely not wrong. Sometimes people don't understand your struggle and just want to sweep it under the rug. You have to do what is best for you and your mental health. If you don't feel comfortable then don't go. You shouldn't have to compromise how you feel about this situation. What you went through is a big deal. Maybe you can see your brother afterwards or celebrate at a different time.
