Hey mommas!
My baby girl is 10 months, she still does not crawl on all her fours. Only scoots while being on her stomach (very fast!) and she also walks along the table very well, as well as the walls and using a walker. But for some reason when she's on the floor, she scoots using her belly.. Anyone elses baby does the same? Should I be concerned? Or is she just skipping the milestone of "properly crawling"?
@anastesia21 she pretty much just told me to keep correcting it. If i see her trying to stand before crawling to put her on her tummy. The army crawl is a normal tep before crawling but it's not as vital. You can try helping her by placing her properly. I don't know how good she is at holding herself up so that's your call
@mommy1991 did she mention what a parent can do to help their child crawl?
Obviously every baby is different. But I went to an ostheopathe and she told me that it's so important that my baby crawls for so many reasons. It helps balance and coordination and a bunch of other stuff that I don't remember. You do you I know a ton of babies that never crawled but I thought you should know this information and do what you will with it 😊
My daughter does the exact same thing. Zero interest in actually crawling how most babies do we figured she just skip the crawling all together. She's pretty quick with getting around tho lol
@mommy1991 all right great thanks!
