Today, we're chatting about picky eaters and feeding baby with @smilingwithmyawesome4kids 👶🏽 Share your stories, advice and ask her questions about her experience with her four children. Here are her tips:

I have had my shares of Picky Eaters who simply refused to eat what was in front of them Well what I did ? I followed these 7 simple tips to get my children to eat

1.) Be patience

2.) Keep reintroducing food again

3.) Children don't understand change

4.)Don't yell at your child

5.) Don't threaten your child

6.) Have you child try different foods

7.) Keep a food diary of what you feed your child in case of a allergic reaction

At first my baby wouldn't want to eat meats. So I would alternate with a veggie usually carrots (he loves carrots lol) and eventually he would eat the meats alone. But at first he would spit it out or just take it out of his mouth and smear it on his highchair. And I is good to keep a food diary I found out that my little one is allergic to eggplant

My 2yo had boycotted anything green/veggies. I kept putting them on her plate in small batches anyway hoping she would use it. I would usually cook the veggies in only garlic powder (she loves garlic) and taught her how to just put a little bit of pink salt on them herself. She would at least TRY them after she salted them and we would show her how yummy our veggies were. She's finally eating green beans again and has started sampling raw carrots if I chop them into disks. I've tried a few other things, too that seem to be working like praising her when she does try something and I let her know that she needs to at least TRY it even if she chooses not to eat it, that way we both have an option to win.

@smilingwithmyawesome4kids yes it's it squirts, or too soft or too crunchy he won't eat it. So stressful, he won't eat mashes potatoes but he'll eat oatmeal 🤦

They only thing he faithfully eats is rice, chicken that's not fried, mac and cheese, and soup. And home made fries

I found that my son will in fact, eat anything you put in front of him. He doesn't always love it but he at least tries it. I break everything up pretty small, solid veggies, fruits, bread, meats, etc. I found that if I do this he will eat it for sure, also because he likes to feed himself. Plus it ensures that he can chew it better, it also makes me feel better that he may not choke on it as easily (note I always supervise him when he's eating). I am having some trouble getting him to drink anything other than water from a sippy cup. Like if I want to give him his formula or milk in a sippy and not a bottle anymore. I have been trying to transition for a while and it's difficult. (He's turning one on the 19th of this month.)

Here's her bio and general tips: Hello I am Ceiamaria I am a stay at home Mother to 4 children ages 12,8,7 and 11 months old. I am happily married for 12 years and we are still going strong. I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child.
