Yes, and maybe a pap. 6 weeks is also when most women choose their birth control method.

I didn't get an exam, but I also didn't have but one stitch. I just filled out a questionnaire to determine if I had PPD and got some birth control.

I had a second degree tear and an episiotomy so I'm sure they will check that, I'm just a little nervous about a pelvic exam. I ended up having a pelvic exam the day after I had him due to bleeding so hey if I can handle that I guess I can handle one after 6 weeks lol
