***no bashing please**
The past week Riley has been horrible with attitudes, hitting, and throwing fits. I get she's only one, but how do I handle it. Like when I say fit, she does it all! Screams, hand swings, stomps her feet, so on. When she hits, we've tried the lightly hand popping and telling her no, but she just laughs. I feel like if I don't try to do something now, its just going to get worse. She's pretty good at understanding no when it comes to other things but as the 'temper tantrums' she could care less. Please tell me I'm not alone!

Not at all...my baby does the same thing. She yells.. she'll bite her own hand and sometimes mine. She use to bang her head on things but we got that stopped. She understands no and when we tell her this how she reacts... she's one very spoiled baby.

As hard as it is, the best thing to do is don't give in and don't acknowledge. Also try over acknowledging good behavior. They learn very quickly that their behavior gets a reaction. If there is no reaction to the tantrums and over the top reaction to good behavior, then maybe the tantrums will stop. What worked for me may not work for u but I figured I would offer my experience
