@brianna_ well i started having contractions at 5:30 in the morning and they were sporadic like ranging between 12 minutes and five minutes they were never consistent so I never knew when to go to the hospital LOL I ended up going at 3 p.m. and didn't even have time to get an epidural I was already 10 cm dilated by time I got there and I pushed 4 times she was born in 15 minutes after arriving at the hospital 3:29pm to be exact. It was hard for me to know when to go to the hospital because when I called at 8 a.m. in the morning they said don't come on till they're 5 minutes apart for a whole hour and that never happened until like 230 all the suddenly started being 3 minutes apart consistently and my mom tried to rush me to the hospital LOL

Girl it was crazy LOL that my boyfriend didn't even make it he was at work and he worked 40 minutes away from the house but good luck it is exciting and scary at the same time lol

@embracemthrhd2, I couldn't imagine having a natural birth, that's the thing I'm most terrified of...feeling everything. But hopefully something happens within the next hour and 20 mins

I've decided to wait till the last possible second to go into the hospital. But then again, I also plan on going all natural. All natural does hurt but it is also so beautiful. I've had an epidural with my first and it was all smooth sailing. With my second, the epidural didn't work at all and it was horrible. This time around I've decided I don't want anything. Bring on the pain.

@2-mommies, yeah I got the epidural with my daughter and it was a great and quick delivery so I'm going that route. Contractions were horrible, I was puking and had diarrhea and back labor so I'm not taking any chances on that happening again

My water broke with my daughter at 1am. I didn't go to the hospital until 3. I wasn't in pain until 3. You will know if your water brakes. You will also have blood. Good luck. You can also walk and bounce on your birthing ball
