My friends surprised me at my house today which a bunch of stuff for my son that I really needed and I cried like a baby! I couldn't afford a baby shower/ didn't have enough people to invite to really spend money so they planned a small "baby shower" and it was the best thing ever!

I really thought I was getting a baby shower and like no one has even thought about giving me one. This is my first baby i mean no one has to do anything for me I just at least thought they had plans for me and they don’t. They gave my uncle one because his wife didn’t want one because she already had a kid.And everyone got a baby shower and was giving one .But I guess it’s okay. I’ll do my own baby shower with my next child I just thought family planned a baby shower for you . Lol guess I thought wrong.
I can't decide on favors for my shower every thing look cheap or useless. Are favors really necessary? And show your baby shower favors
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

@sixplusones, yes there are def good people and it's not always true that when you have a baby your friends disappear because I'm on baby # 2 and my bffs are the best aunts to my daughter and I know they will be to my son!

@sixplusones, yes I knew they were both up to something but wasn't 100% what was going on until I came home and they had a cover over a bunch of bags, a tub and a high chair

Silly question but what kind of things do you like to eat i see your having a boy i was reading a study on things moms with boys eat opposed to things moms carrying girls eat ... Im trying to compare lol
