So Alice has been coughing excessively for 4 nights now. Finally called the doctor because I'm desperate to get some sleep and nothing I was doing was helping. They want me to wait out the weekend but are suspicious that Alice has allergic asthma. 🤦 I mean, i guess I'm not surprised because she has year around seasonal allergies and ezcema but still, sheesh! If shes not better by Monday we're looking at a nebulizer. At this point I'm up for anything to help us sleep through the night again.

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Poor baby girl, I hope you both can get some sleep soon. So many different things in the air in the desert. This is the first year my 9 year old hasn't had seasonal allergies yet.
