What are the essentials to bring in your "hospital bag" when you are about to go in labor besides a coming home outfit for you and the baby? Also what kind of clothes should I bring for myself, sweats?

Range of sizes in baby clothes for LO! They kept telling me she was 9 lbs+ so I didn't bother with newborn sizes. She ended up only being 7.5 and lost a lot of weight before we went home so she was swimming in the 0-3 mo clothes I brought!
Oh and chapstick n mints lol im.so serious lips get so dry m breath be rocking ( learned off my sister birth)

I packed two outfits for myself, my husband, and my daughter. Some toiletries. My phone charger, diapers, wipes(normally the hospital has diapers and wipes) receiving blanket. I wish I had brought snacks as well
Just bring some comfy clothes. Normally after having a baby people are the same size as they were while 6 months pregnant so don't bring pre pregnancy clothes

I overpacked. I know better this time. For you pack a labor bag to bring in with you and then a hospital bag you leave in the car, your other can get it for you after delivery.
Labor bag: headband, hair ties, movies, boppy pillow, and headphones for music through your phone.
Hospital bag: black very loose pajamas and if you plan on breastfeeding, nursing tanks. toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, Shower stuff, and hairbrush.
Baby: going home outfit, pictures outfit, hand mitts (this one is important, they don't provide any and they scratch their little faces), pacifiers, and nail filers/clippers.
Everything else will be provided for you.

Have people bring you and your other snacks and drinks that come visit you 😊 they'll like to be helpful.
I was in the hospital for a week. Son def shower essentials, extra comfy loose clothes. A comfy pillow. Some small stuff to distract yourself with. My labor took a long time. My hubby would go rent movies lol clothes for baby, swaddle blankets. Change for the vending machine. And phone charger.
I packed everything lol slippers a nightgown socks for myself makeup shampoo body wash because they let you shower afterwards just not right away but like the next day you can ☺️ I even packed extra clothes for my baby
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
