Oh damn , now that's pretty rude of her to say that . I totally understand your frustration on this matter . It's both of your days and your married now . So I'm sure he is torn. Sadly he may have to split his time or even do her on another day. I hated when my MIL would put my husband in uncomfortable situations like that. Sorry your going through that hun @deemamibear,

@krenee1120, i don't mind doing joint Mother's Day that's what I normally tell him to do, I tell him to take his mother with us on special days but she told him to take her out without me which is what got me upset because I always include her on days that I should be going out alone with him.

I do a joint Mother's Day with both our mothers because it's their day as well. I get it , but I guess it all depends on what your comfortable with.

Maybe he can take her to breakfast and you out to dinner if he can manage all that .

@heatherlynn1220, yes he knows I'm upset I let him know she's not right for that, he told me not to be upset that I will be with him for Mother's Day. My problem is why would she think it's ok to take Mother's Day away from me cause she's his mother, why doesn't she pick another day for her son to take her out.
