I really hate cps. I have never been in any trouble. I've never harmed a child. Yet have my kids taken because my house is not clean enough for them. ( Barely a mess) honestly I don't see how they expect an absolutely spotless house when I have two toddlers. I'm getting so depressed and I feel like a shitty mom. I'm raising to kids by myself while my husband is away for the military. How do y'all keep a spotless house with toddlers?
@thestarsinorlove, they won't. We had them for a year thanks to my dad and his wife
@shellbell0391 I had a friend staying with me with her kids and I was baby sitting my nieces. I asked her to watch the kids while I went to the bathroom and when I came back she told me my nieces had poor powder hair bleach in her sisters eyes. After that they started a CPS case on me and told me I needed to child proof my house which I did. Now they won't leave me alone.
I really wish I had my mom over at the time. There are so many people who genuinely don't take care of they're kids.
You gotta try and get someone to help ya I'm sure there's resources you can use
Cps can very strict, but I would find out what the reasoning was that they took your kids
@shellbell0391 they were really not picking. Theyve come two times before and house was spotless because my kids were still sleep. She asked me to open the bathroom door so she could take a picture and two minutes after opening the door I'm still standing next to the door and she says to me "I mean honestly this is a hazard to your child. You have bleach and cleaning supplies in the bathroom and you left the door open. They also know that I have child locks on my doors. When I took my son out of his high chair she took a picture of the mess he made. Every time they saw something brown the assumed it was feces. I honestly have no idea what to do.
I think you should contact someone who can help you because that doesn't seem right?
What the heck! God I hope they never come to my house and I don't even have toddlers! How does that happen? That is ridiculous.
Wow, wtf. My house is NEVER spotless. If my living room, bedrooms, playroom, and bathroom are clean, I guarantee there are dishes in the sink at the moment. If my kitchen, bedroom, etc are clean, I guarantee there are toys thrown around the freaking living room, dining room, in the tub or wherever. My house is messy often, but there's a difference between a messy house and a dirty one. That's crazy to me. And when my husband was deployed, I had a 3 month old and suffered postpartum depression, so it was very messy then. But I'll be damned if my kids are ever taken for having a messy house. Whose house is ever really, truly spotless?
I'm sorry to hear that ... you should do more investigation on what's going on in the case I work for CPS and that's not a valid reason for removal from the home. Please do this for the benefit of you and your children you may be granted custody again by law !!!!
Thank you. 😞 It hurts to have them gone. They are all I feel like I have here.
I would contact a lawyer if you're able to
